Description Our East Bay client is seeking to add a Senior Accountant to their dynamic, fast-paced team. They are seeking an accounting candidate who possesses robust experience in year-end closing, reconciliations, fixed assets, ERP systems, and audit. In this role, you will take responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of accounting functions as well as take part in the year-end closing procedure(s). Our client is also seeking experience and knowledge in the areas of balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset depreciation/salvage, year-end audit and more. Proficiency in an ERP system is essential to success, with advanced Excel skills for reporting purposes. In addition you will be supporting independent auditors, providing them with requested information. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Econ. with a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience. A good fit for our client is someone who’s detail-oriented, analytical, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. It is also key to be deadline driven and possess effective communication skills.
