Description
• Facilitate and complete month-end closing procedures to include general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and the ability to research and determine the most effective means of handling accounting transactions. • Preparation of financial statements to include balance sheet, income statements by department and statement of cash flow. • Analyze financial statements to include variances in the P&L against budget and meet deadlines in accordance with a month-end closing calendar. • Maintain the accounts within the ERP system for general ledger, accounts payable, and receivables. • Coordinate meetings with Corporate Accounting Manager and financial analysts to communicate general ledger activity in relation to department budgets. • Support the Controller and Corporate Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements. • Assist CFO and Controller with annual external financial audit, state audit and organization tax return (Form 990) preparation. • Research, develop and maintain accounting policies in accordance with GAAP

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • 5 – 7 years’ experience (public accounting experience a plus) • Nonprofit accounting experience a plus

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $45.00
