The Role and the Team

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, high performing team in Sunnyvale, CA.  This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team.  This role will report to the Accounting Manager and have general ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to, Payroll, Commissions, Bonus, Accruals, and Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end close procedures. In addition, the individual will support any ad-hoc projects as needed by upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience in all these areas. Job Requirements

Prepare Journal entries and account reconciliations including, but not limited to Payroll, Commission, Bonus and various AccrualsOversee and manage day-to-day payroll related accounting tasks and other requested tasksResponsible for various accruals at month end and assigned reconciliationsPrepare various balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management reportingAssist with KPI, metrics and analysis in various areas, including process analysis and system improvement projectsAssist with process improvement projects in process design, discovery, and testingProvide PBCs/schedules as requested by the external auditors or internal SOX team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting4 to 5 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firmStrong Excel skills requiredDemonstrate strong working knowledge of US GAAPStrong organization and verbal/communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skillsCPA preferred, but not requiredExperience with ERP (MS Dynamics D365) and FloQast is a plus

Base Pay Range: 93,730.00 - 147,290.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 74,550.00 - 117,150.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 66,640.00 - 104,720.00 USD
