Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Accountant professional who is looking to further their career into a Senior Accountant position. The ideal candidate will complete journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GAAP. This individual must be very detail-oriented and accurate in data entry.

ResponsibilitiesComplete journal entries and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.Perform month-end close procedures.Prepare and analyze balance sheets.Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.Manage general ledger activities.Process purchase orders and invoicing.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in an accounting position.1+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry role.Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry.Proficiency in ERP Software (LN is a plus).Experience with month-end close procedures.Strong skills in reconciliations and balance sheets.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.Familiarity with general ledger activities and invoicing.Work Environment

The work environment includes a cubicle area within the accounting department. It is very laid back, and you can even bring your well-behaved dog to work! After 60-90 days of training, there is flexibility to work one day from home. The role offers hybrid work arrangements after training (after 60 days, 1 day WFH), fully paid benefits after the contract period, and a profit-sharing bonus. Eligible for Allegis Group Contractor Benefits during the duration of the contract period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00
