Job Description:

A leading insurance company looking to add a strong senior accountant to their corporate team. As a Senior Accountant, you will support general accounting functions for the company and its subsidiaries, in addition to assisting in departmental projects to improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Partake in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.Assist in GAAP and STAT financial reporting.Identify potential inefficiencies and issues, and determine methods of improvement.Coordinate with internal business teams to support initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.5+ years of public and/or corporate combined accounting experience.CPA highly preferred.Insurance industry experience preferred.
