About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our US Finance Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing global organization. As a key member of our Accounting Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, from managing accounts payable and receivable to supporting month-end close processes and enhancing internal controls.
You’ll also have the chance to identify and implement process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scalability, and provide critical support for audits and ad-hoc reporting requests. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our global finance counterparts in London, contributing to an integrated international finance presence.

Please note: this is a full-time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater New York City area. We encourage collaboration by working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, while also offering flexibility for employees to choose where they work for the rest of the week.
What You’ll Do:Perform day-to-day accounting functions including cash movements, cash position review & other financial maintenance entriesAssist with the monthly financial close, including entering journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and maintaining supporting schedulesAssist in the development or improvement of internal controls and corporate proceduresProactively identify areas for process enhancements and partner with other departments on improvements to help achieve scalability and to support new business initiativesProvide support for audit request or ad-hoc reporting requestsWe're Looking for Someone With: An accounting background with 3-5 years of experience, ideally a combination of Big 4 and high growth startup experience Experience with financial closes, including review, reconciliation and preparation of P&L, BS and CF statement accountsExperience with Netsuite is a plusDeep knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting standardsStrong computer skills: ExcelAttention to detail and the ability to multitaskTools We Use:NetsuiteExcelGsuiteJP Morgan Access$90,000 - $110,000 a yearSalary ranges are determined by competitive market data for our size, stage, and industry, experience and location of the applicant, and our internal salary banding, which is reviewed at least annually.
