Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Westford, MA. Key Tasks: * Senior Accountant will support quarterly closing procedures at the corporate level * Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts * Manage intercompany balancing * Coordinate quarter-end and year-end close activities with subsidiaries, internal departments, and auditors * Contribute to worldwide consolidation efforts, including reviewing elimination entries and reconciling intercompany transactions * Develop financial schedules and analyses for quarterly earnings releases * As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in preparing press releases, investor call presentations, and SEC filings (Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K), including compiling supporting schedules * Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley key accounting controls * Support quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors * Prepare quarterly intercompany insurance billing * Review foreign subsidiaries' quarterly local currency reporting packages
