Senior Accountant
Description Robert Half has teamed up with a leading development organization on their search for a Senior Accountant who can assist with the financial future of the company. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reports, preparing financial statements, assisting the month end close process, analyzing financial data, processing client billings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent leadership abilities, sharp analytical skills, command of the month end process, excellent time management experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Major Responsibilities + Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Conduct monthly performance financial analysis including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments to provide financial business insights and potential areas of improvement to assist in decision-making processes. + Preparation the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the global organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards. + Manage financial activities for multiple entities (in different currencies), ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and foreign subsidiaries to streamline financial processes, identify opportunities for process automation, and enhance efficiency and accuracy to meet changing business needs. Requirements The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred. Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to: + 7+ years of full cycle accounting experience + Manufacturing experience or cost experience ideal + Strong ERP knowledge + Advanced Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism. + Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
