Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a great client of ours in Sarasota, FL.   This is a Direct hire role paying in the $100k - $125k Range. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of technical accounting experience, with a background in Construction, Land Development, or Real Estate. Key Responsibilities: Manage and handle all technical accounting functions.  Prepare and oversee financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning. Perform financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency. Key Qualifications: 3-5 years of technical accounting experience.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).  Certifications: CPA or MBA (preferred)- or working towards the CPA/MBA with dates set for completion set – This is not required  Must come from one or more of the following industries: Construction, Land Development, or Real Estate.- Industry is required Skills and Intangibles: Strong work ethic and motivated self-starter.  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
