Senior Accountant

Our client, a Manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting month end close, reconciliations, etc. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, teamwork and precision which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Accountant
**Location:** Sterling, MA (Hybrid)
**Pay Range:** 45-55/hour (negotiable, let's talk)
**What’s the Job?**
+ Supervise employees in the transactional accounting functions and be directly responsible for all daily accounting activity.
+ Responsible for the integration of accounting processes, policies and procedures.
+ Prepare/review monthly journal entries for closing, financial statement information, maintain daily and weekly cash reporting and provide weekly cash forecasts.
+ Maintain full general ledger responsibility, including account analysis and reconciliations, the maintenance of the chart of accounts and budget master.
**What’s Needed?**
+ 5+ years of experience with accounting principles such as GAAP, AP, AR, and inventory accounting
+ Strong experience with high volumes of account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, month end close, and journal entries
+ Experience with fixed asset accounting
+ CPA not required, but referred
