Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant for a dynamic company in the Roseville area. In this role, you will be a key player in the creation of the financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, month end close, revenue recognition and annual audit support. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions within the general ledger. • Assist in the optimization of financial systems for efficient and accurate financial operations. • Prepare and review financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, adhering to accounting standards. • Facilitate the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. • Offer insights and recommendations to management by monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics to improve financial performance. • Assist in the creation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue recognition, applying ASC 606 guidelines. • Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations. • Stay updated with changes in accounting principles and standards, ensuring compliance and contemporary accounting practices. • Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelors in degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in an accounting role. • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. • Excellent attention to detail with the capability to multitask. • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be a plus.
