Senior Accountant
Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES o Generating the company’s financial reports based on income and expenditure data analysis o Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable by proactively identifying issues, making corrections, and determining resolutions o Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status and proactively communicating with management and stakeholders o Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations o Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company o Reconciling the company’s bank statements and general ledgers o Completing analysis of expenditures o Managing income and expenditure accounts in general ledger o Creating and cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy and processing in a timely manner to clients o Posting ACH/Wire and checks. o Processing deposits for credit card batches and refunds as needed o Working with senior officials and distributors on overdue payments o Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments via phone and email o Planning, implementing and supervising the company’s financial strategy o Handling the company’s transactions and debts and do cash flow forecasting o Performing the company’s financial audits o Following proper accounting procedures month/year end closing to reach financial objectives o Monitoring and analyzing financial accounting data o Processing employee benefits, calculating commissions, taxes, and making payroll o Communicate with government, banks, accounting CPA, and IT departments o Additional duties as assigned.
