Description An established company is in search of a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex accounting functions, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP. + Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate. + Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. + Oversee fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules. + Assist in developing budgets and forecasts by providing in-depth analysis. + Support internal and external audit activities by preparing necessary documentation. + Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed. Requirements + 5+ years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus. + CPA or similar certification preferred. + Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. + Strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
