Our client is looking to hire a sharp Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to their growing team. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the business unit leaders as well as corporate leadership teams to support the close, financial reporting and analysis. The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant Will Be Responsible For:

Perform monthly-close process by preparing journal entries, analyzing, and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Prepare tie-outs to supporting documentation for SEC filings, earnings releases and investor documents

Assist finance teams with rolling forecasts, annual budgets, treasury reporting and equity analysis

Assist with the P&L and other budgeting and forecasting processes

Prepare materials for board of director meetings and support various ad-hoc projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA highly preferred

3+ years of corporate and/or public accounting experience

Experience working in the energy, manufacturing, or utilities sector
