Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform monthly close activities accurately and timely, such as prepare journal entries, roll forwards and reconciliations. Ongoing data analysis and in-depth expense review Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports. Respond timely to accounting and finance questions by researching and interpreting data. Reconciles various balance sheet accounts. Assists with the annual budget process. Assists with rebate calculations. Assists with external audit requests. Updates and adds internal documentation to Orgill procedures as necessary. Participate in special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access). Experience with accounting systems (preferred but not required). Possesses general understanding of accounting policies and procedures. Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to work independently as well as with others in assigned group with little supervision. Willingness to new tasks as assigned.
