Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a Washington, DC area law firm in the search for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing reconciliations, trust accounting, and financial analysis while working closely with leadership to maintain compliance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a legal or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, trust, and credit card accounts.Ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations and prepare trust distribution reports.Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support month-end and year-end closings.Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.Strong understanding of trust accounting and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Chrome River is a plus).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
