ZGF is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Portland office who will play a key role in core general ledger accounting. The ideal candidate will eagerly participate in the implementation of a new ERP system and process enhancements. As a Senior Accountant you will…

Craft precise journal entries and keep meticulous documentationTackle complex reconciliations and dive deep into general ledger accountsEnsure compliance with quarterly bank covenant reportingSupport month-end and year-end accounting close processesPrepare comprehensive financial statements and management reportsManage intercompany account reconciliations and international reportingMaintain thorough records, prepare tax work papers, and handle tax filingsIdentify and implement process improvements, providing valuable accounting insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with project accounting on project monthly results reportingSupport transition to upgraded financial system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting experienceWorking knowledge of tax laws and GAAPExceptional analytical and proactive problem-solving skillsHigh quality work outputOrganized and efficient in managing multiple projects and deadlinesStrong sense of ownership, initiative, and self-managementProven ability to work independently and drive projects to completionEager to learn and adapt to changes in the fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaborationProficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new toolsCPA with public accounting experience preferredExperience with Deltek financial management software highly desirable

Base Salary Range

$81,000/yr - $94,000/yr
