Description Senior Accountant - Job Description Location: San Carlos, CA (on-site) Job Type: Full-time, Exempt We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be integral in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities: + Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with financial statements. + Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), assist with forecasts, and provide analysis for decision-making. + General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the ledger, ensure proper transaction coding, and reconcile intercompany transactions. + Process Improvement: Implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy, document procedures, and assist with new system implementation. + Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist with tax/audit compliance, and maintain up-to-date records. + Other Duties: Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. + 5+ years of accounting experience (general ledger, reconciliations, financial analysis). + Strong knowledge of GAAP. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced preferred). + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, and Gusto is a plus.
