Job duties include: + Reconcile balance sheet accounts for the company: + Evaluate the contents of the accounts. + Research discrepancies or questionable items. + Correct journal entries. + Request missed payments. + Discuss with controller, treasurer, financial reporting manager on processes/issues. + Bank reconciliation for the company: + Record wires/ACH’s/bank fees. + Record intercompany cash transfers and translations to USD. + Reconcile payroll voids/express checks/adjustments/pay card loads/unloads. + Manage stale dated ADP and AP checks to be escheated. + Prepare and execute GL journal entries for the company: + Manage data uploads and verify accuracy from other financial systems (i.e., payroll, general liability). + Record intercompany transactions/management fees with appropriate x-rates. + Prepare and enter manual journal entries as needed (i.e., payroll accrual, downtime/damage, revenue accrual, build/monitor various reserves, customer rebates, reclasses). + Perform financial assessments: + Research and explain drivers in spending trends or budget variances. + Research P&L inquiries from Operations staff. + Other ad-hoc assessments as requested. + Manage monthly amortization processes: + Intangibles. + Various prepaid insurances. + Prepaid services/Broker fees. + Manage Ohio and Washington workers compensation quarterly/annual filings: + Make required payments. + Rate changes. + Expense true ups. + System Administrator: + ADP GL (payroll system)/Payworks. + Solver – Data warehouse elements. + D365 - Add new locations, Vendor, and customer additions. **YOUR MUST HAVES:** + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. + Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or related field, with demonstrated experience in a senior-level role. + Thorough understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles. + Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms preferred. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. + Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:** + CPA or equivalent certification. + Financial Reporting, Systems implementations, Monthly closing, and Account reconciliations experience. + Medium to large company experience. + Experience with Microsoft D365, strong Excel skills, ADP Payroll Systems, and Solver Reporting. **OUR ENVIRONMENT:** This position is a hybrid position based, in part, in the Corporate Headquarters consisting of a traditional office setting and a combination of your professional home office.
