Job Title: Sr. Accountant
Role Summary: Collaborate with accounting leadership on SEC reporting, technical accounting research, month-end close, and ad-hoc projects. Key responsibilities include producing accounting memorandums and financial reports, performing calculations, and organizing support for SOX controls and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support month-end close process and internal control concepts.
+ Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Assist with share-based compensation accounting.
+ Research technical accounting matters and disclosure requirements.
+ Monitor and implement new accounting standards.
+ Draft SEC financial reports and coordinate tie-outs.
+ Prepare/review SOX documentation.
+ Respond to audit requests for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
+ Perform other job-related functions and special projects.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
+ Experience: 5+ years of related work experience, including 3 years at a Big 4 accounting firm.
+ Proficiency: SAP or other Tier I ERP applications, Excel, Word.
+ Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, customer-oriented.
+ Certification: CPA preferred; non-CPA candidates expected to obtain the license within one year (educational assistance provided).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
