If so, we have an exciting, Sr. Accountant opportunity for you on the Lease Accounting team.
Role:
Sr. Accountant - Lease Accounting Team
•\tMaintain accounting for leased assets and related occupancy expenses.
•\tProvide guidance and support to the regions and business units
•\tMeet, or exceed established departmental targets as they related to various KPI’s.
•\tDrive excellent customer service for applicable stakeholders
•\tSeek automation and efficiency improvements in all processes and measure progress
•\tPartner with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to aid in budgeting and forecasting as it relates to occupancy expenses
•\tPerform and/or review account reconciliations
•\tMiscellaneous project work, as required
•\tSupport SOX control compliance
•\tAssist in onboarding M&A entities, as needed
•\tOther duties as required
All About You:
Education/Certification
•\tBachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
•\tCPA or Chartered Accountant, preferred
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
•\tExcellent technical knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts (specifically within lease accounting under the ASC 842 standard)
•\tExperience identifying and implementing process improvement activities
•\tProgressive accounting experience
•\tPrevious work in a large global environment
•\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
•\tStrong verbal and written communication skills
•\tStrong customer service and business acumen
•\tStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines
