Location: Our NY/NJ Office
Position Description:
Prepare quarterly financial statements, utilize parent company financial reporting system and assist with accounting staff management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze balance sheet accounts to support preparation of financial statements for both IFRS & GAAP standards.
Prepare quarterly and year end annotated balance sheets per IFRS & GAAP standards for Turner Corporation and Turner Construction.
Prepare cash flow analysis to support financial statements.
Review joint venture accounting, analysis of investment and earnings roll forwards as well as new joint venture agreements for proper accounting treatment.
Review bank reconciliations and account analysis prepared by headquarters accountants.
Prepare and analyze quarterly forecasts and financial statements for parent company and corresponding input of forecasts and actuals into parent company financial reporting system.
Assist in management of accounting staff.
Review and post journal entries.
Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
