Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)
**Job Overview:** Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Staff Accountant to join their team in Oxnard. This crucial role involves providing leadership and essential support to the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in financial records and the general ledger. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, team-focused, and possess strong communication skills. **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct General Ledger analysis and reviews to ensure accuracy across various entities. + Process intercompany invoicing, accruals, and reporting. + Manage end-of-month (EOM) close journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. + Provide leadership during EOM close and updates to the Controller. + Oversee accounts payable (AP) activities, identify discrepancies, and mentor staff accountants. + Prepare weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. + Handle fixed asset reporting, processing, and documentation. + Research costs by project and brand, and assist with margin reporting. + Review payment runs and verify supporting documentation. + Prepare cash outflow reports and analyze cash requirements. + Assist with dashboard and KPI reporting, as well as Value Stream Reporting (LEAN Accounting). + Support ACH, wire, and credit card payments as needed. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance controls and processes. + Aid in revenue and cost alignment for projects and provide performance reporting. + Contribute to inventory analysis, cycle counts, and physical inventory reporting. + Assist with year-end financial audit deliverables and sales tax reporting. + Undertake special projects and assist with internal controls compliance. + Help roll out desktop procedures and documentation for key functions. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business. + Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting. + Extensive experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable (PO and Non-PO) in a manufacturing environment. + Strong grasp of General Ledger and internal controls. + Proficient in inventory and cost accounting. + Advanced skills in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs). + Ability to manage multiple tasks with high organizational skills and accuracy. + Thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. + Detail-oriented with sound judgment and a hands-on approach to process improvements. **Apply Now:** Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications to Alissa at alissa.do@adeccona.com.
