ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconcile restricted and unrestricted revenues and pledges between Raiser's Edge/subsidiary ledger and Financial Edge/general ledger, investigating and addressing variances promptly.Ensure accuracy of posted transactions by verifying revenue and pledge adjustments from subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.Cross-train on month-end closing entries and execute functions as needed in the absence of other staff.Perform final tie-out of cash reconciliations, completing a four-way match among lockbox batches, revenue system batches, general ledger batches, and bank deposits.Monitor outstanding pledges and receivables, following up with relevant staff to ensure timely collections.Develop financial schedules and review processes at the request of the Controller.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience; at least two years in a non-profit financial role with fundraising collaboration.Experience with high volume invoice processing Experience working with investments and working in a large organization (at least 50 million+)High financial acumen and strong aptitude for using technology and financial systems effectively.Proven ability to manage deadlines successfully in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Professionalism in handling sensitive information with diplomacy and confidentiality.
