This role is based in Stockholm, but the candidate will be working towards Norway so business trips to our office in Ski are required. What you'll do as our Senior Accountant: In the role of Senior Accountant, you will have a key role in ensuring the financial stability and efficiency of Assa Abloy Global Solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data to detect any deviations or anomalies. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and work closely with your team to ensure accurate cost coding and allocation processes. You will also: + Prepare, review, and maintain financial reports, statements, and records. + Coordinate statutory reporting for legal entities within Assa Abloy Global Solutions. + Facilitate the annual audit process with external auditors. + Perform ledger reconstructions to ensure accuracy and consistency. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. + Act as a mentor and educate your team members in accounting processes. Skills and experience you'll need: To be successful in this role, you will need: + 5+ years of experience in accounting or related roles, with a preference if you also have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. + Professional proficiency in English and either Swedish or Norwegian. + Proficiency in SAP, AX, HFM, and strong knowledge of MS Excel. + Good understanding of accounting principles, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset. + Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team environments. We also place great emphasis on personal qualities. You should be meticulous and have an analytical ability, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in teams. Additionally, structure, strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills are required.
