The office
Our office in Rotterdam is located on the Maas with a view of the Erasmus Bridge. If you drive along the Boompjes in the morning, you can see the city awakening by the Maas. Around 400 people work here, yet there's a friendly atmosphere as if everyone knows each other. Upon arrival, you'll receive a warm welcome. The office is within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to have lunch outside or take a walk along the Maas. The restaurant on the first floor is known within EY for the delicious fresh and healthy lunch prepared by the chef and his team every day.
Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
Controller: Analyze financial data and processes, contribute to management letters and auditor statements. Advisor: Provide clients with insightful strategies, utilizing expertise and internal tools for reliable advice. Collaborator: Seize opportunities with existing and new clients, sharing sector-specific knowledge and understanding current trends. Coach: Guide junior auditors, ensuring deadlines are met, plans adjusted, and issues identified.
Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
An (almost) completed Accounting certification (RA, ACCA, CA, CPA) Extensive work experience in an accounting firm as an external accountant Proficiency in both Dutch and English language, both spoken and written

Upon receiving your CV, we'll schedule a brief MS Teams introductory meeting. If there's alignment with the job, we'll conduct a first interview with the recruiter and a team member. Successful candidates will proceed to an online assessment, followed by result discussion. A second interview with a practice partner may follow.
Pre-employment screening
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened.
