Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting - Hybrid

**Role Summary**
This role will be an integral part in the Corporate Accounting SEC reporting team and be responsible for quarterly 10Q/10K reporting, as well as monthly accounting for the parent companies.
**Role Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for certain US GAAP financial reporting activities for The Cigna Group, including disclosures supporting SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
+ Ensure satisfaction of disclosure requirements listed per GAAP Disclosure Checklist.
+ Support monthly close for the parent companies.
+ Participate in special projects such as the implementation of new technology, adoption of new accounting guidance and associated restatement of prior period financials, etc.
+ Support SOX compliance and external audit processes.
**Qualifications**
+ CPA designation preferred
+ Prior experience in public and/or corporate accounting
+ Strong analytical, problem solving skills and business acumen
+ Ability to quickly learn and adopt
+ Attention to details
+ Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines and ability to multi-task.
+ Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
+ Strong writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
