What You'll Do We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our cross-functional Integrated Finance Solutions (IFS) team. In this role, you’ll build long-standing relationships with internal customers, focused on delivering value to the customer. You’ll be responsible for taking model output and other AWS data and transforming it for general ledger and external reporting purposes. Help maintain and advance financial reporting processes Coordinate various aspects of the monthly close process with stakeholders across business units, ensuring work is performed by established deadlines Work with accounting, actuarial, and IT teams across the enterprise on new automation capabilities around model output and data lake information Support accounting needs for reporting and data teams using AWS tools Provide support for populating, evaluating and editing disclosures in our financial reports Develop and communicate updated solutions and recommendations to key stakeholders Coordinate the process for annual regulatory reporting for Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement Assist with cross-business unit and enterprise-wide projects · Perform other tasks such as policy updating, tracking immaterial departures, execute SOX controls and procedures, etc. Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Who You Are Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required CPA or other applicable certifications preferred Advanced Excel skills, and comfort working to tackle sophisticated problems within demanding time constraints. Critical thinking, process improvement, strong communication skills, agility, and self-motivation are key. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $106400 - $144400 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Work Environments This role offers an in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement in Des Moines, IA.
