A Kforce client in Amesbury, MA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a divisional role supporting a $1B+ Manufacturing and Products Company. The Senior Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and will lead month end close, manage a team, and involved with implementing process automation for the business. Responsibilities include: * Senior Accounting Manager will be leading day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close process, including journal entries, inventory, reconciliations, analysis, and fixed assets * Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls * As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be involved with strategic projects and making recommendations for process automation and system enhancements * Assist with financial analysis and budgeting process * Assist with implementing and maintaining internal controls * Lead and manage an accounting team
