Job Title: Senior Accounting Systems Analyst
Job Description:
The Senior Accounting Systems Analyst will support the Accounting/Finance department by engaging in various accounting and financial systems projects and tasks. This includes accounting processes, documentation of current and future accounting processes, analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting system issues, and participating in implementations to support the organization's overall goals. The role is diverse, aligning with the department's needs due to an ERP transformation project, financial initiatives, and other accounting tasks requiring additional resources. The Senior Accounting Systems Analyst is responsible for analysis, execution, communication, and team collaboration, reporting initially to the Finance Technology Controller and handling tasks such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, expense reports, fixed assets, project costing, project billing and forecasting, international subsidiaries, and payroll.
Responsibilities:
+ Execute accounting tasks or work with teams to complete deliverables.
+ Gather and document functional business processes and requirements, proposing possible solutions.
+ Act as a liaison between the Accounting/Finance business and IT, understanding both business and technical aspects of projects.
+ Develop and execute detailed test scripts for validating system solutions.
+ Create training materials and present training sessions for end-users.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
+ Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial systems
+ Ability to work well with various levels and within a team environment
+ Experience with system implementations preferred
+ Experience with Oracle applications, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud preferred
+ SQL and/or business analyst experience a plus
+ Self-motivated with good organizational skills
+ Ability to creatively analyze and solve problems independently
Work Environment:
Working in office 5 days per week, core hours 9 - 4. The office is situated on a very nice campus and headquarters.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00
