Senior Accounts Payable Manager (Global Travel and Expense Manager)
Saviynt Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel and Expense Manager to oversee the company’sglobal travel and expense policies and processes. This role is critical in ensuring that all travel and expenseactivities align with corporate policies while optimizing costs and improving employee experience. The Travel andExpense Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and humanresources, to streamline processes and enhance reporting and compliance efforts. This role requires an individualwith a positive attitude, confident demeanor, and excellent communication skills, who can provide a high level ofcustomer services to al internal and external contacts.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGManage the end-to-end travel and expense process, ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance with legal and financial regulations.Lead and maintain the company’s travel and expense policy, ensuring it remains updated with industry best practices, cost-effective, and employee-friendly.Oversee all corporate travel arrangements, including bookings for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other logistical requirements, ensuring cost savings and vendor management.Review and approve travel and expense claims, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies.Manage and optimize relationships with travel service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.Analyze and report on travel and expense data, identifying trends and areas for cost savings or process improvements.Develop and deliver training programs for employees on travel and expense policies, systems, and procedures.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reconciliation of travel and expense reports, timely reimbursements, and cost reporting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the travel and expense function to improve process efficiency and employee satisfaction.Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adapt policies and procedures.Manage expense management systems (e.g., Concur, Expensify) and provide technical support to employees using the platforms.Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global travel and expense regulations, including taxation and audit requirements.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel and expense management, preferably in a global organization.Strong knowledge of travel industry practices, trends, and best practices.Hands-on experience with travel management systems (e.g., Concur, Expensify) and expense reporting tools.Demonstrated experience in policy development, process optimization, and compliance management.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and report on data trends and recommend cost- saving measures.Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
