Description Our client is seeking a contract Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to become an integral part of its rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will report to the Accounting Manager and have opportunity for career growth and quick advancement within this dynamic department. Responsibilities - Primary responsibility is to handle the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department - Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; provide compliance with Company policies - Process high volume 3 Way Match accounts payable - Providing internal and external audit assistance as required - Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Perform special projects as assigned *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in 3 Way Match Accounts Payable (AP) processing • Experience with processing payable invoices • Knowledge of weekly account payable management • Familiarity with Navision software • Experience in running check runs • Knowledge of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) process • Proficiency in using Concur software for expense management • Ability to handle expense account management • Experience with interest calculations • Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures • Experience with bank reconciliations.
