Description We are offering a contract for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist position in Williamston, Michigan. You will be part of a team-oriented workplace in the financial services industry. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process a range of 30-50 invoices per week • Maintain precise records of all transactions related to Accounts Payable (AP) • Serve as a backup to the controller, assisting with various projects • Handle account coding and ensure all accounting functions are executed correctly • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ADP - Financial Services for various accounting tasks • Conduct regular auditing to ensure financial compliance • Use Excel Formulas for effective data management and v-lookup functions with the current software • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Work with a range of 100 vendors, some of which may be complex • Adapt to new ERP software in the spring • Use Concur for efficient expense management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required • Must be adept with Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary • Familiarity with Concur is expected • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed • Ability to perform Accounting Functions is essential • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory • Understanding of Accrual Accounting is required • Experience in Auditing is necessary • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is expected • Proficiency in Excel Formulas is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
