SUMMARY:
This is a mid-level position. The Configuration Management Specialist supports procurement data management efforts. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Acquisition Management Support Specialist supports procurement data management efforts.Contacting Vendors for parts quotes.Use local applications for ordering and receiving parts, obtaining contract data for ordered items and verifying commercial vendor part numbers.Track procurement receipt of items procured.Monitors data via audit reports for accurate input and provide metric data

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE:
Education and Experience:
The Senior Acquisition Management Support Specialist must have seven (7) years of experience in Government acquisition support and Information Technology Purchase Requests.Must have or be able to attain a DOD security clearance.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of U.S. Navy and DOD procurement process a plus.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required. May require occasional travel.
