Position Summary
As a member of the Commercial Pharmacy Actuarial team, this position is responsible for developing pharmacy trend forecasts for Commercial and Exchange fully insured and AFA businesses, robust analysis of monthly financial results, and ensuring the integrity of pharmacy pricing strategy. Will lead a team of 3 - 4 analysts with a focus on:
Reducing underlying costs by optimizing discounts, formulary, clinical programs, trends, rebate analytics and strategy. Deliver expertise through deep dives to drive results for specific segments/businesses.Leverage PBM analytics to drive stability in IFP and to develop pharmacy strategy for all segments.Enhance analytics that influence strategy, provide accountability, and drive decision making.Develop and deliver strategic framework for formulary design.Lead development of financial forecasting process for fully insured pharmacy trend.Support transfer pricing, ensure data reconciliation and assumptions.Driving analyses related to emerging pharmacy results, trend drivers, drug pipeline and drug trends.Collaborate with business partners across CVS Health enterprise on trend drivers.Explaining drivers of variance to forecast, including working with finance on differences between DOS and financial results.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of actuarial experience
Must have your ASA or FSA
Strong communication skills & problem-solving skills
Experience w/Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detail

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
