Senior Admin/ Project Coordinator
Job Title: Project Manager/Administrative Support

Job Description

This position supports the Chief Engineer and his team in Product Development. The role involves meeting with project leads, checking statuses, and proactively solving problems. The successful candidate will operate independently, follow up with direct reports to ensure timelines and deadlines are met, and provide comprehensive project management and administrative support.

ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional teams including finance, purchasing, planning, program management, engineering, and manufacturing.Manage issues, timelines, and financials to develop programs on time and within budget. Support cost reduction initiatives by establishing plans and progressing projects with cross-functional teams.Establish, publish, and manage project metrics to ensure quality execution.Track GPDS and process step progress and completion in line with approved project timing plan objectives.Lead Platform and Hardware/Software teams discussions using Accessory PAT forum, establishing agendas, minutes, and attendees.Support Program, Vehicle, Marketing, and Manufacturing forums for accessory development and delivery. Provide status updates on projects and support the development of business cases for new accessories.Manage different aspects of top-hat and platform program deliverables including planning, program control, and build phases for owned projects.Coordinate action plans to resolve project issues and ensure program deliverables are on track by working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute recovery plans.Develop presentations to communicate the status of deliverables, identify issues, and outline recovery plans to management and teams.Support vehicle prototype planning and builds and coordinate accessory functional sign-offs from various functional teams as required.Essential SkillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to accept process disciplines, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.Experience with business case development including financial analytics.Hands-on knowledge and understanding of Global Product Development System (GPDS), Engineering Design Environment, FEDEBOM, Global Integrator, CMF/CRF systems, and other relevant systems.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Proficiency in WERS (Worldwide Engineering Release System) and AIMS (Automated Issues Management System) is desired.Strong written and verbal presentation skills for internal management interaction and cross-functional team meeting facilitation.Self-motivated, hardworking, open-minded, and a phenomenal teammate with a can-do attitude.Ability to work within a hybrid work model policy.Willingness to learn and teach; coach/transfer lessons learned to other analysts and program teams.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of project management and administrative support experience.Experience with scheduling and tracking agendas/projects.Strong MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.Proactive, eager to support, and collaborative.auto background experience is a plus.Experience with Ariba/Client Programs.Automotive experience.Work Environment

The role is hybrid, requiring approximately 3 days a week in the office at the Product Development Center. The team is flexible based on the need to support a global team. The culture is very team-oriented, working with multiple divisions including engineering, finance, and purchasing. The dress code is business casual, and working hours are 40 hours per week, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
