The Senior Administrative Aide performs a strategic advisory role to the University President and Chief of Staff and is responsible for overall management and supervision of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and executive communications within the Office of the President. The Senior Administrative Aide serves as a trusted adviser to the Chief of Staff to advance the priorities of the president and to ensure the exceptional standing of the office. This role monitors and advises on the status of strategic initiatives and provides thorough research, data and reporting to ensure successful progression of key priorities. On behalf of the President and Chief of Staff, this role leads and propels the execution of ad hoc initiatives and programs. The Senior Administrative Aide is responsible for cultivating and fostering relationships with key constituencies including administrators, academic leaders, faculty, students, community leadership and public officials. This role formulates, translates, and embeds strategic messaging to advance the vision and culture of the university. The Senior Administrative Aide works independently on many projects and assignments, with significant level of discretion. They serve as the back up for the Chief of Staff in their absence. Some evening and weekend work and travel will be required.
