Description:Lockheed Martin Space is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to our Global Situational Awareness Strategy and Business Development organization in Sunnyvale, CA. This position will provide support to multiple directors as well as additional support to their management teams. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. They must be a self-starter with strong initiatives, a team player, have the proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short/firm deadlines that aligns to company initiatives. We are looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism and confidentially.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to general correspondence, phone duties, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and expense reports, answering internal and external customer inquiries and special duties as requires. The selected individual will be responsible for performing complex and diversified administrative functions that require independent decision making and problem-solving capabilities with minimal direction.

We are a business development organization, so our Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting customer relations and interfacing with customers along with our leadership. We host many customers and vendors at our location which requires scheduling conference rooms, providing direction on visit certifications with LM Security, providing site passes, escorting, setting up the meeting including any communications requirements (and ordering refreshments as necessary), and being the first point of contact from Lockheed Martin Space to meet and greet our guests. The role resides in an executive area where there may be additional responsibilities such as maintaining office supplies, organizing shipments, getting mail and deliveries as well as general upkeep and maintenance of the suite (kitchenette, supply closets, printers, etc.)

This position will provide support for business operations including coordinating, compiling, and preparing information for internal business reviews, documentation, and reports; compile and edit weekly and monthly status reports and items of interest. Knowledge of standard office equipment and technology (phones, printers, iPhone, IOS and applications, computers, laptops, copiers, Windows, Microsoft Office, for both operations and basic trouble shooting is necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
• Previous Administrative Assistant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with SharePoint
• Experience with travel coordination and expense reporting
• Experience with calendar management
• TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start
Desired Skills:
• Minimum of Five (5) years similar experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage task work-flows to achieve maximum productivity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MSOffice tools including MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Minimum of five years of administration experience; prefer executive administration experience
• Self-reliant and self-starter able to anticipate requirements of business leaders
• Flexible with ability to multi-task and maintains composure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and a team focus
• Excellent Interpersonal skills to interface with customers and leadership
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented with the comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize non-routine situations and lead projects as necessary
• Professionalism, reliability, and flexibility in handling responsibilities
• Willingness to take on increasing levels of responsibility and commitment to professional development

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $49,100 - $94,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $56,500 - $102,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
