Your Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Administrative Assistant for John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA, you will….

 

Perform a full range of administrative support duties of a confidential and challenging nature within Engine Engineering. Facilitate work flow through the Vice President, Engine Engineering and direct staff using organizational knowledge to determine how to handle incoming requests and assignments, including work going to and from other managers. Plan and organize the calendar for the Vice President, Engine Engineering and direct staff Proactively lead arrangements for travel including VISA and passport management Plan and organize general communications for the PEC operations, including collecting metrics and assisting in publishing regular reports. Coordinate with Deere and Co. Administrative Assistants to arrange global meetings, and local meetings and events. Numerous miscellaneous tasks related to daily operation of PEC and plan special events as needed

Two or more years’ administrative assistant work experience Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Excellent organizational skills Ability to work/network with many different people globally Proven collaborative and people skills What Makes You Stand Out

 

Experience managing highly confidential material Experience planning and coordinating large group meetings or events Experience with travel planning Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
 

Degree in Administrative/Clerical discipline or equivalent experience BS or BA degree in business, communication, or other related majors
