The Senior Administrative Assistant for the Generation Sector provides comprehensive administrative support to two executives and the sector leadership team. The role partners with the sector operations managers, other divisions/departments and external contacts, including EPRI’s members.
Key Responsibilities
Interface with staff as required to ensure communications to and from the executives are transmitted and received promptly
Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature
Schedule executive's appointments and maintain up-to-date calendar. Exercise discretion in arranging executives’ schedules. Determines time and place of meetings, has input to agenda, and may recommend attendees. Conduct follow-up (verbal/phone/email) for the executives with minimum instruction.
Support administrative needs of executives’ direct reports
Work collaboratively with sector operations and support teams and other internal groups
Provide administrative support including word processing, slides and presentations, and developing and producing reports
Develop and maintain digital file systems
Track and follow up on various action items to ensure schedules and due dates are met
Coordinate calendars to manage priorities and avoid conflicts
Attend meetings to record details and compile, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics. Determine itinerary and helps evaluate most cost effective and efficient travel vendors.
Efficiently organize large meetings, either independently or as part of a team. Responsible for selecting venues within company guidelines; negotiating rates and arrangements with vendors (hotels, caterers, travel agencies); ensuring all meeting materials, presentations, and activities are well-coordinated; and maintain meeting budgets.
Effectively track financial and budget information
Education and Experience
Three to five years of experience as a secretary/administrative assistant is required
High School Diploma required

Ability to quickly grasp the in-depth knowledge of EPRI's operations, policies, and procedures
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and planning skill including managing files and records

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Copilot; proficient with scheduling and operating digital meeting platforms

The salary range for this position is $53,200 USD to $66,150 USD annually.This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program.
