Responsible for the Admitting, Bed Control, and Surgical Registration as well as performing the duties of a registrar. Assists the Manager and Team Leader to train staff, assigns work, implements procedures, and resolves complex issues to ensure accurate, cost effective and compliant operations both state and federally. Implements and performs quality checks as well as monitors productivity and efficiency reporting and makes adjustments in workflows/staffing as needed. Responsible for ensuring that South County Hospital has the appropriate registrations, insurance verifications and provider orders for both inpatient and outpatient services. Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent education and work experience, three years related patient access and admitting experience required.
