As a Senior Advanced Project Manager, you will have the ability to implement and lead an engineering development effort using IPDS or equivalent.  You will have experience writing SOW to engineering peer teams, vendors or subcontractors. You will attend customer or leadership program reviews and produce supporting documents/charts in support of such reviews. You will create and gather phase gate artifacts (PECA) in support of IPDS gate exit reviews.  You will have experience in estimation and proposal writing.  You will also have experience with Integrated Master schedule creation and maintenance (SPI,CPI,EV).

Requirements Management

\n\nSubject matter expert in modern CPCS requirement management and development.\nCustomer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems, (DOORS, PTS, Clearcase).\nRequirement implementation into Honeywell controls system documents.\nAttend / moderate design peer reviews and implement / validate requirement changes, (iaw IPDS AP-1235).\nManage the build and test of development test equipment and hardware in formal configuration control, (PDM).\n\n

\n

Test Integration

\n\nWrite test cases and procedure/scripts for requirement validation, (Python).\nPerform validation tests and write analysis reports, (HMATS).\nValidate development SW packages and modifications to customer requirements.\nIntegrate system level test equipment, electronic/mechanical hardware and software.\n\n

 

\n

 

\n

Model Based Development

\n\nAdvanced understanding of model-based development tools, (HAM, Beacon).\nAble to generate advanced control models and simulations, (MatLab/Simulink).\nAble to understand and run advanced model simulations.\n\n

 

\n

 

\n

Engineering Documentation / Process

\n\nExpert in CPCS control systems hardware and software.\nProficient with engineering development process (IPDS per AP-1235 or equivalent).\nAble to independently write technical documents (qualification documents, design review material, acceptance test reports, etc).\nAble to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, interface drawings an drawing trees, (PDM).\nProficient with PDM ECR/ECO initiation and review process.\nAble to define and estimate System Engineering tasks needed to support efforts associated with new programs/scope changes.\n\n

General

\n\nSubject matter expert in modern electronic CPCS systems.\nAble to lead small engineering technical teams and provide mentoring to junior engineers.\nFamiliarity with aerospace industry specifications, (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754, ARP4761, Mil-spec).\nFamiliarity with FAA and other aircraft certification processes, (FAR Part 23, 25).\nUnderstanding of Aircraft Cabin Pressure and/or Environmental Control Systems.\nInterpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional disciplines as well as suppliers, vendors, and customers.\nUnderstanding of System Safety Analysis and Functional Hazard Assessment.\n\n

You Must Have

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.\n5+ years of customer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems, (DOORS, PTS, Clearcase).\n5+ years developing CPCS / ECS aerospace systems.\nSME in aircraft integration and certification.\n\n
