As a Senior Advance Structural Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of complex structures using STAAD software. Your expertise in structural design and connection design will ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and adhere to ASCE codes and other international design codes. Your contributions will play a critical role in driving innovation, safety, and efficiency in various industries.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge structural solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

\n

 

\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •   Design and analyze complex structures using STAAD software.
    •   Perform connection design for structural components.
    •   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
    •   Adhere to ASCE codes and other international design codes.
    •   Conduct structural analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
    •   Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
    •   Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in structural engineering.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

\n

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

\n

 

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.\n5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.\nProficiency in STAAD software.\nStrong knowledge of ASCE codes and other international design codes.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities.

\n\nBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.\nMaster's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.\nExperience in connection design for structural components.\nExperience with foundation design.\nKnowledge of relevant industry standards and best practice.\nFamiliarity with other structural analysis software.\nStrong leadership and project management skills.
