The Role

The Brand Marketing team within the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising  (MCF) Division is committed to building a brand that engages the public in a relevant, differentiating and meaningful way and inspires both financial and non-financial supporter action for and with Save the Children. We aim to inspire lifelong relationships with our supporters and our brand work extends beyond the general public, across all of our core strategic audiences, including corporate partners, policymakers, and employees.

Working closely with and reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing you will lead the development of strategic marketing plans that attract and inspire Corporate Partners to support Save the Children’s core mission through awareness, engagement and fundraising. In this role, you lead the development and execution of compelling, scalable, multi-year campaigns and cause-marketing programs that contribute to our Corporate Partner revenue goals and Marketing objectives and advance our mission through powerful storytelling and innovative marketing initiatives.

You will be a champion for our Corporate Partners helping to translate their social impact strategies into programmatic impact for children in the United States and around the world, and working with Marketing subject matter experts and our content creation team to deliver powerful storytelling about difference we are making together.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Partnership Marketing Strategy (40%)

Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that articulate the shared value proposition between corporate partners and our organization Create compelling narratives that position partnerships as integral to advancing our mission Design multi-channel campaign frameworks that showcase partnership impact and engage key stakeholders Lead the development of partnership messaging architecture and storytelling approaches Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in cause marketing and purpose-driven partnerships

Campaign Development and Execution (35%)

Design and implement integrated cause marketing campaigns that drive awareness and engagement Create co-branded marketing initiatives across digital, social, and traditional channels Develop content strategies that showcase partnership impact and success stories Lead creative development for partnership activations and campaigns Oversee campaign execution to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment Write and edit high-impact partnership communications materials Guide the development of partnership presentations and marketing collateral

Measurement & Optimization (10%)

Establish KPIs and success metrics for partnership marketing initiatives Monitor and analyze campaign performance across channels Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing partnership marketing efforts Create compelling case studies and impact reports that demonstrate partnership value, campaign success and learnings

Cross-functional Leadership (15%)

Collaborate with colleagues in Corporate Partnerships, US Programs and Save the Children International to ensure alignment and integration Champion partner marketing initiatives within Marketing, Communications and Fundraising ensure maximum support and visibility to achieve campaign goals. Train, develop, coach, lead, and supervise one direct report to instill a practice of partnership marketing best practices, clearly communicating organization, division and department priorities, and how their work contributes to our mission, ensuring that the working environment continually fosters diversity, inclusion, and belonging – supporting Save the Children values

Required qualifications for the role

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent experience, plus at least 8 years of relevant experience  Proven track record developing successful cause marketing campaigns Deep understanding of corporate social impact and ESG landscape Experience working with corporate partners and their marketing teams Demonstrated success in strategic storytelling and content development Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle numerous projects simultaneously with attention to detail Professional proficiency in MS Office suite Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred qualifications for the role

Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing strategies Experience with marketing analytics and measurement tools

Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $108,800 – $121,600 base salary Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $98,600 – $110,200 base salary Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $88,400 – $98,800 base salary

The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here).
