Manulife Wealth & Asset Management is looking for a technically strong hands-on, collaborative Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Software engineer who can bring thought leadership to the table and can build fabulous experiences for our investors, advisors, and clients. (AEM). You should have a validated understanding of the system/application architecture of AEM, its templates, widgets, components, and workflows including knowledge of out of the box search capabilities and custom integration with enterprise services.
It isn’t “all” AEM though – we’d like our new team member to know some React and be able to quickly learn our backend systems.
What are we looking for
8 + years of software development experience in a similar role
Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and experience with templates, micro sites, tagging, and campaigns on AEM,
Experience providing hands on technical leadership for development of AEM based Enterprise Content Management platforms,
Referenceable track record delivering enterprise-caliber initiatives,
Strong sense of ownership for what you do and contribute,
Familiarity with HTML/CSS markup and dynamic markup (jsp, asp, php)
Familiarity with JavaScript both jQuery and ext js frameworks
Extensive work experience with Mongo & Java Content Repository (JCR)
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Model View Controller paradigm
Develop applications that are deployed to the JEE application server and CQ5/Adobe AEM environment
Assess existing source code and adapt to meet current requirements
Support production environment with resolving application errors including backend
Assist on team activities to analyze and improve system performance
Implement application development standards and proven techniques
Abide by the agile methodologies Software Development Process
Identify and provide recommendations for system process improvements
Experience using and developing RESTful services
Proven understanding of SQL/relational database concepts
5+ years of experience in developing, improving, and operating digital content platforms with an additional 2-3 years of (outstanding) technical leadership

HybridSalary range is expected to be between
