In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing modern, cloud-based AI/ML technologies for our corporate tax solutions. You will work on a fast-paced team of researchers and engineers, driving high-business-value software from prototypes to production, and collaborating with our distributed teams. 

Some of the things you will be doing: 

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex business problems in the tax domain. Collaborate proactively with a distributed team, including engineers, researchers, quality assurance, project managers, and product managers. Participate in daily standups to stay aligned with team goals and progress. Write quality, efficient code for new AI/ML-based features and resolve issues. Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements. Share responsibility for unit and integration testing automation. Stay current with cutting-edge technologies, experiment with and implement new advancements, especially with a focus on AI/ML. Coach and mentor junior engineers and software developers. 

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 

6+ years of software design and development experience, with a strong focus on building solutions that integrate AI/ML. Proven experience in leveraging and implementing machine learning models to build solutions (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning). Strong proficiency in Python Experience with AI/ML libraries, such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, FastAPI, and Gradio Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Cloud AI Platform). Azure is a plus. Familiarity with graph databases and knowledge graphs (Neo4j, CosmosDB, etc.) Experience with microservice-based architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, or AKS). Knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, TypeScript, and React is advantageous. Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Experience with MLOps practices, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring. Expertise in object-oriented design, patterns, and programming. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Clear, concise communication skills and a passion for AI/ML product development. Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic, diverse team environment. Track record of delivering high-quality AI/ML solutions in fast-paced environments.
