Job Description

AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Air Quality Project Manager for immediate employment at our Conshohocken, PA, Raleigh, NC or Chelmsford, MA offices. This position is part of our air permitting and compliance group.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Work closely with clients to develop strategies that will aid the client in maintaining compliance and operational flexibility while meeting client’s expectations related to scope, budget, schedule and qualityCompliance auditingPreparation of air permit application packagesAir permitting strategy developmentAir regulatory review and compliancePreparation of air emission inventoriesResponsible for the development and mentoring of junior and mid-level staff members; this will be accomplished with an active role in supporting general technical growth by providing constructive oversight and challenging tasksPrepare proposals and cost estimatesMust have strong oral presentation skills, strong written communication skills, and strong math and computer skillsAbility to work well in teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, biology, geology or natural sciences or similar field + 6 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education6 years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experienceValid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.Due to the nature of work, US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Business develop experience including proposal developmentExperience with Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey air permitting programsExperience interpreting and implementing State and Federal regulationsAbility to manage and mentor junior staff8+ years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience
