Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable

We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. **Position Summary** The Senior Merchandise Payable's Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the merchandise payables team which is located off shore performs timely processing of direct store delivery merchandise invoices and any related supplier disputes resulting from discrepancies between the supplier's invoice and CVS systems. This position will function as an Independent Contributor within the merchandise payables internal team. The expectation of this role is to support the Senior Accounts Payable Manager and members of our off shore team as they research and resolve vendor/site initiated disputes related to invoice payments, variances and other exceptions. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable. This role will regularly interact with our offshore team and help resolve escalated vendor issues. They will assist our suppliers with any issues involving invoices, supplier disputes, supplier maintenance, and statement reconciliations. They will also regularly work cross functionally with outside departments such as merchandising, inventory, Loss Prevention, logistics, store/distribution centers, etc. This team member will also be responsible for reconciliations related to supplier accounts as well as assisting with internal account reconciliations. **Required Qualifications** + 3 years of Accounts Payable experience + Must be able to work onsite 2-3 days a week + Advanced Excel, Access and Word skills **Preferred Qualifications** + SAP experience + Ability to prioritize work + Excellent decision making ability and independent reasoning skills + Excellent time management skills + Excellent ability to multi-task + Excellent follow through on assigned items + Excellent ability to work with others internal to Accounts Payable and outside of Accounts Payable + Excellent understanding of accounting functions within Accounts Payable + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written + Must possess a professional demeanor and attitude + Ability to convey processes and procedures to others + Highly organized and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail + Experience within a large, retail organization + Clear understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Payable best practices + Previous Accounting experience + 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience **Education** + Associates degree required or equivalent supervisory work experience + Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent supervisory work experience **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
