The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. The Global Brand Strategy & Insights team sits within GABM. We are responsible for accelerating brand consideration globally by delivering robust insights, transformative brand strategies, and key capabilities for marketers across the organization. We are seeking a **Senior Analyst of Brand Planning** who will support creation of the annual brand planning cycle to create cohesion of all B2B and B2C above-the-line strategies and marketing initiatives to ensure enterprise coordination through the line. These positions will report to Senior Manager, Brand Planning. **Key Responsibilities:** + Support creation of the annual strategic brief and supplemental tactical briefs that connects strategic brand priorities across cross-team marketing activations, assets and experiential moments. + Facilitate GABM and Business Unit partners stakeholder management and communications to ensure alignment across Brand Planning efforts for B2B, B2C, and Enterprise initiates to ensure end-to-end continuity in marketing efforts through the line. + Partner closely with GABM cross-functional team (Content, Social, Media, Digital Brand Products, and Insights) to deliver best-in-class, customer centric work + Provide operational support to bring activations to market (e.g. phases, timing, milestones stakeholders, risks, approvals). Develop system for tracking and monitoring highly visible, complex campaigns. + Optimize integrated campaign planning across media, content, and Experiential. Develop tools to track, monitor, and align above-the-line strategies; and evaluate operating models to improve collaboration and decision making. + Drive innovative thinking across teams, keeping a pulse on external marketplace trends to develop cutting-edge, winning strategies. + Has high visibility among key stakeholders across the Enterprise. **Qualifications:** + Comfort with white space and strong analytical skills, including the ability to leverage insights, assess opportunities and build a strategic narrative for senior leaders + Strong organizational skills and the ability to ingest multiple viewpoints and determine an appropriate go-forward plan in ambiguous situations + Ability to manage complex interdependent projects, timelines, and deliverables and keep various work-streams on track + Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to think big picture, but dive into details to execute against objectives and drive measurable results + Ability to build relationships, both internally and externally, that efficiently identify and deliver on mutual goals + Ambition to make an impact in a fast-moving, multifaceted, growth environment; Passion and interest in Advertising and/or Brand Management. **Qualifications** Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
