The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst of Capital Planning reporting to the Senior Manager of Capital Strategy and Planning.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
Royal Caribbean Group, a leader in the Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality industry, is a fast-growing multinational cruise operator. The company is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Capital Planning department. This department controls and guides decision making for RCG’s capital expenditures.
Aligned with the Company’s strategic planning process, the department provides a long-range plan for the capital asset portfolio as well as provides the tools necessary for business leaders to make investment decisions. The position supports the Capital Planning team with operations and strategic capital planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to Capital Strategy and Operations function, including CAR review and diligence. Work closely with finance team and internal stakeholders on capital allocation, forecasting, and prioritization. Support ongoing capital project reporting and analysis, including budget to actuals, timeline and status. Support Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning capital consolidation, internal stakeholder review and alignment. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement efficiencies and process improvement opportunities. Support implementation of Oracle project, including developing and executing training sessions with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth transition (change management). Identify, support and implement process improvement activities (short to medium term) and capital process enhancements including creation of detailed documentation for system processes, standardization of data collection, standardization and analytics, post-mortems, benchmarking. Provide ongoing support to Capital Planning team as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar with applicable coursework in Corporate Finance, Strategy, Accounting, Economics and Statistics. 2 years of work experience required in Finance and/or ERP functions. Advanced use and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Oracle product suite preferred. Experience with EPM, JD Edwards World or other database management system a plus. Experience with PowerBI and/or Power Automate preferred. Ability to work well under pressure and problem solve with diverse groups.
